Not beautiful, but interesting. Does anybody know if this is an original Pininfarina special or a nose job done later?

Here is a direct link (http://www.hymanltd.com/search/Details.asp?stockno=3517&recordCount=16) to the sellers website. Description of the car says: "The modifications were perfomed by a coachbuilder in Italy to exacting standards."

Unfortunately this doesn't say much about who exactly was the coachbuilder. Also www.barchetta.cc doesn't have any special comments about chassis #6537.

For some reason I doubt it was Pininfarina....

Interesting, the text says that it was bought new by John Meecum (Mecom??) who was at that time Lola importer in the USA and ran several T70 Spyders..in blue, so the suggestion that the car was originally blue makes some sense...otherwise I still think it is an aberration, and if I owned it I have it reconverted to the maligned double headlight configuration of the 330 GT.

First time I've seen that one and I hope the last.

maybe a "independent" work.
