not bad, but it'll not take over my Panamera dreams just yet

And it's different to the current Quattroporte Sport GT how?

It says GTS in the boot... probably.

I don't see much of a difference, some better brakes, different dampers and some black trim. Not sure its worth the extra 10k or whatever it'll be.

Well if you'd read the article...

First up are new fixed dampers, doing away with the adaptive Skyhook system. The Sport GT S also sits 10mm lower at the front and 25mm at the rear than the non-S version to benefit the handling and the car's appearance.

And just below the suspension are so-called ‘co-fusional brakes’. The discs - co-developed with Brembo - are made of iron and aluminium and are supposed to increase both brake feel and resistance to fade. Clamping these up-front are new six-piston callipers.

Plus a few obligatory cosmetic tweaks.

Those brakes certainly sound interesting.

having exhausted all other materials known to man, a return to clog iron is it?? :)

I would suspect that it is a different form of steel with more aluminium than usual

I have to say this looks very nice, always liked masers. Dropping of the skyhook suspension though.. interesting

Yay!

Unforunately, the Sport GT is one of the most common Quattroporte models on the used market.

I like the rims... the car isn't too bad either.

Let's see, there's the Quattroporte, the Quattroporte Sport GT and the Quattroporte Executive GT. I would say that having three versions to chose from, each of them is "one of the most common Quattroporte models on the used market" :D

It is nice to see a really beautiful car like the Maserati Quattrotorpe when most modern cars are ugly and boring in terms of physical appearance/looks.

Yes, unforunately. Then again, I like the Sport GT.

I don't know where you live, but Executive models are rarely on the used market here. There's a lot of Quattroportes, but there's sometimes just as many Sport GTs.
