Joined forces between Lotus Sport & Lotus Sport & performance gave the birth to the SPORT Elize 135R which was designed to provide ultimate performance on roads & tracks.

Its 1.8 litres engine produces 135 bhp & hits the 100 kmh in 5.2 secs which is good considering its 4 cyl unit.
It will be available in 2 colors:the Micra Silver & Micra blue with especially designed interior for this car.

The Lotus Elise has to be an icon, it's just a beautiful car and FANTASTIC performance.
I have a video of an Elise overtaking an F40, F355 and a BMW M3 on a track in 2 laps, superb!

its not really the engine but its the chassis and yes this was what some guy said - you may pass me easily on a straight with your ferrari or lamborghini but watch my elise fly past yours at the next BEND - MUHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAA

WOW from 135BHP they claim 5.2 secs - I gotta see that!
It may be possible but the car would only have a top speed of maybe 200+ with the gear ratios they would have to use.
Don't like the new grille and lights not retro enough - like the previous model - imho.
