Pretty fun half hour...theres about 100 2mm screws sitting in my screw driver case. :D

Nope...just took the broken screen apart to get my cd out.

that happened to the stock headunit in our G35. all 6 cds got stuck. i believe its a clarion hedunit. warranty covered it but still.

It was broken, and it was burnt CD. Why go to the bother off taking it apart.

Just think, what would JC do? In this case, hit it with a hammer.

On a side note, stock deck sounds like asshole.

Maybe there was an easier way to do it, other than taking the whole thing apart?

Shouldn't there be a manual eject button, which you can use by inserting a paper clip ? It is on all computer CD drives anyway !!!

Looks like an in-car CD to me, and mine sure as hell doesn't have a manual eject button...

Yours has only a manual erect button.

Not that I saw, even taking it apart I had to stick the micro-screwdriver in there and get it started and pull it the rest of the way out by hand.
