What exactly do you mean by 'Latin-American specialty cars'? :) Racing ones or the ones for L-A markets in general or something else?

Just saying that the name of the car #3, post #8 has been updated - It's a Baufer-Chevrolet 'La Pantera Rosa' which, according to the info I have, has participated in 1971 Buenos Aires 1000km driven by Eduardo Pino.

Have any books been published recently detailing these cars? There seems to be a lot of racing in South America that has not been written about very extensively.
Thanks
Charles

Hello, Charles!

I have also been looking for such books, but sadly there are none of them I could find.
