Okay! Here' some from my neighbourhood.

1) Looks like new Vaz-2107
2) Volga 3102, the general's and ministers car:cool:
Probably some ex-general going to country house:)
3)Thats ordinary russians going to "Dacha" or country house in a Vaz-2105

The Niva is still sold here as Lada Niva and can reularly be spotted on 4x4 terrains around here. Just wondering, since you mentioned them as Vaz 2121Niva, are these built at a different plant or something or are it just badge-engineered versions sold here ?

What do you mean? Lada is a trademark of VAZ factory :)

Heh, cannot say for sure, but think they were made in Tolliaty, USSR where other nivas for USSR were also made. Just badges changed.
Now Nivas are made also in Kazakhstan, and Ukraine by the way. But for local markets.:)

Here's A pickup made on Izh factory, the base is 2105, the ODA is removed from marked, and Izh makes 2105 now , and made 2106 till 2006 year if im right

I'm guessing the fire trucks are old Mercedes (since they have the badge on the hood) with a Ziegler or Rosenbauer fitting on them. It's some great German quality stuff.

The mercedes badge got nothing to do with benz, just cool tuning:cool:
The trucks , apart from the first one, are russian. Zils . But i dont know the indexes they got after being fitted at fire truck firms.

Of course... Didn't think of that.

Could be self-build then. Happens a lot in Eastern European nations. Or there is some other 100% Russian fire truck builder... I believe they are called Zit or Zil or something. They have produced loads of fire trucks for Russian cities in the 70's, 80's and 90's.

EDIT - Sorry, didn't see kukuruznik's comment...

The new ones are a different story, its post the great soviet era. its the era of we-have-no-money-because-its-all-in-our-pocket-PS-gimme-yours-or-you-go-to-jail

An East-German company also built some fire-vehicles. I've lost the name right now, starts with Ba... Anyway when I think of it, i'll post it. Might have some pictures as well somewhere, I think I did make a back-up of them before the laptop-crash..

Could be Baribbi, but that's an Italian company. Then there is Brijabasi, an Indian company. Last there is Braco, and they are from Norway...

Those are all I can think of...

Guys, you surprise me :) How can it be that no one recognized a Transit? If you really didn't, 'Transit' is written on its side :)
