Got an easy solution , ferry over to Scotland and pick up a race 1380 that's sitting in friends garage ready to go at the right price.
Nothing's impossible to fix in Minis and fix at low cost, that - and the drive - make them great cars :)

On another vbulletin forum, where there is a different rep. system they have like 2000 rep. and the green dots keep piling up. I don't tink u can fix it its just meant to be like that.
