Wasn't it a Japan only car?

Specs?
It's basically a Yaris T-Sport (or Vitz RS in Japan) with a turbo. It had about 160bhp. Here are the specs for the N/A car.

It was also available in Switzerland. It ran with 150bhp and a kerb weight of 1015kg (3-door) or 1035kg (5-door). A bit worse than the figures of Ferrer.

Its a pity they will never be able to get away from the fact that its a Yaris.

first, GT1 has a Yaris, and second, I drive a red 1.0 Yaris once a month and it's funny, the gear level has very short movements and the engine is quite good for such a little displacement. but the best of it is that at 70 kmh it seems to fly so you lift your right foot and your license is safe ;)

oh so he has a slightly biased point of view.

The guy i am sitting next to at work right now has one, hates it. One of my mates had one a red 1.0 one too. I drove it several times and can't honestly say its a enjoyable drive. You are probably right though when you said it was funny.

Its a car for taking a young lass to the shops thats about it. Nothing more nothing less.

well, yeah I am biased but I also have alot of insights to this car which I'm not sure you've noticed...

Mine is the 1.3 version that weighs 960kgs, and since I treat it only to premium parts and liquids (excpet fuel, I use regular unleaded) its in a superb condition. The engine is awesome for it's micro size, it delivers while consuming a tiny amount of fuel and boy does it deliver...
