The Geneva Concours d'Elegance is held every year in August in the small town of Geneva, IL, and it is one of the best annual car shows in the Chicago area. Pierce-Arrow was the featured marque, but there were also several Ferrari's and pre-WWII Rolls-Royce's and Cadillac's there. Here are my pics from the 2008 event.

Also shot videos of the F430 Spyder and SuperAmerica, they'll be on YouTube soon.

Nice pics, nice show! Anytime you have Ferrari's en mass is a good day. The last "pure" marque in my humble opinion. Still love Porsche's but gawd that SUV thing....bleh. The Rolls on page 11 I think with the yeller wheels is sweet. I built a 1/24th scale Roller with the same color theme, kind of weird to see it for real. Thanks for posting.

The Geneva Concours d'Elegance is a leading concours for the Midwest region of the United States.

Its development was possible through the support of automotive experts originally from the area, such as Princely Count Vitus Sebastian Barbaro, Patrician of Venice; the Baron Albergo. Mr. Barbaro is a professional automotive designer and aerospace engineer who specializes in high-end design, having presented his work to Ferrari and Bentley.

Other individuals associated with the show include Bob Joynt, automotive historian, collector and trustee of the Auburn-Cord-Dusenberg Museum. Mr. Joint also serves as a judge for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and is the former President of the Auburn-Cord-Dusenburg Club.

Some marques featured at the concours have included: Pierce-Arrow, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Dusenburg, Rolls-Royce, and Porsche, with top examples being the recipient of the Carl F. Benz Award.

A black-tie gala precedes the show.
