Morgan Park Sprints

Another round of timed sprints at Morgan Park for the Porsche club, quite wet though so nobody set any particularly fast laps.
most of the usual competitors were there :)

Clutch was that a prod 2f MX5 in the pics on post 2, what did that go like?

I want to buy a import race only one so the daughter can learn to drive it then hammer the MgF guys that race at Mallala:eek:.

They are cheap 6 grand will get one thats fairly basic with a bit of eng, sus, and all the saftey gear roll cage, kill switch, etc ready to race

don't know to be honest, i'll check the lap times when they are released - he was in the group right before mine, didn't get to see it race. obnoxious sounding exhaust though, rubbish cannon.

it is one of a pair of supercharged M3's getting around owned by a couple of guys - this one has had suspension work done as well though. it's pretty close to 700hp :eek:

:D haha yeah, very neat setup on that car. 480hp, the guy is an engineer and has done a very nice job on it

the track started to dry up around lunchtime, i didn't stay for the afternoon session though.

how much does one of your trackdays cost to get in. im just curious how they compare to trackdays here in the states.

We are 90 a day at Mallala, though this week its a 5pm finish as the racers the drifto boys have there oil down/practice session after us..... Want to pack up early because when I see the drift boys I get a sudden urge to get my 14in breaker bar out and crush some skulls:) They give AE86s a bad name

Looks like a good day out, Whoever is taking the photos is certianly getting better than the ones taken at QR..

If you have photoshop, experiment with the 'Shadow / Highlight' tool. It's an easy fix for photos that suffer from overexposure.

Ha, it least it takes the over 2litre cars 8 laps to get me, I thought the skyline could NEVA LOSE:p
