The Fiat Portofino Show Van is a conversion based on the Fiorino commercial vehicle and designed for holiday and leisure use. Fiat will launch the Portofino concept at the Caravan Salon due to be held in Dusseldorf from 29 August to 7 September 2008

What is this car meant to be used for?
I'm pretty sure that whatever market it was made fro does not exist.

I know, but couldnt they have at least spent their money on a beautiful sportscar ( something fiat needs these days) soncept, rather tham this?

Cutting down a Fiorino is cheap...

And it's a tradition. There have been several Fiat "beach" cars, from the Fiat 600 back in the 50's.

It is nothing but a pure fantasy, concept car at its best. Right away it triggered my mind in thinking about the sun, beach, ocean, girls, piņa colada etc etc.

Guess I'm pretty receptive...

Cutting down a Fiorino is cheap...

EDIT: It can't be too expensive to cut down and rebody an alfa spider for a big company like Fiat


And it's a tradition. There have been several Fiat "beach" cars, from the Fiat 600 back in the 50's.

Ohhhhh... I didn't know it had tradition. I assume that's no small part of its appeal.:)
