Tyrrell P34, one of the wildest cars to win an F1 race.

This particular car is now driven by an Italian, a couple of years ago Martin Stretton re-introduced the six wheeler, in its original dark blue livery, in the European Historic Formula 1 races. Although the original only won one GP (Sweden, a race long disappeared from the calender), with Martin at the wheel (and with no T3's around) it won the historic F1 championship. A truly amazing car, and fortunately Avon is now producing the right ten inch tyres, which contributed to most of the problems that the car had in its days.

If you ever have a chance to visit the TGP series, just do it, there are other amazing cars around.

An other interesting F1 car, the Brabham - Alfa BT46B, the fancar. It has a big fan under the rearwing which produce somekind of vacuum under the car, so the car has lots of downforce. It was banned after winning in Sweden 1978.

Please motorhead check the history books, the sucker car is the 2J, which has no wings at all.

Almost right, the 2E was actually the first winged car, the 2F came one year later in 1967.

What about this one here, the Renault RS10. The first turbo car to ever win a race, a race which marked by an intense and amazing battle for second place between Gilles Villeneuve and Arnoux.

As I already said, get your act together, motorhead. The 2J ain't the 2E so inverted wings are absolutely no issue. The sucker car pioneered the contraption used in the Brabham-Alfa Romeo. It had a two cylinder two stroke Rockwell-JLO engine in the back producing 55 BHP out of 274 cc to propel the two fans that suck the air from under the car. Kudosdude will describe the Brabham Alfa for upon his return from holidays.

Its quite sad how such an innovation can be banned just because it is faster than the competition. They developed the new technology/idea, there car shouldn't have been banned cause it was better.
