World's largest Lamborghini dealer closes - BusinessWeek (http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9497OEO0.htm)

Lamborghini's separate sales company in the United States says the dealer closed because of its own mistakes, not the economy.

I don't know, I can understand your average Joe who makes $50k a year defaulting his $250k mortgage, but your $10 million/year celebrity defaulting a Lambo loan seems odd.

Well I mean one thing could be all the expenses they were incurring on marketing campaigns with celebs.. No matter how high your margins are, you spend like there's no tmr and there might not be..

Hmmm, can't imagine too many rap stars wanting the R8 instrad of a Gallardo in their latest "Booze, bitches 'n bros" video.

Late this year in NZ, we've seen a surge in fire-sale auctions of luxury cars by: Bentley Continentals, 430's, DB9's, etc (one of the Continentals sold for approx 66% of retail value - bargain!). Seems some of the wealthy clients defaulted on lease payments when their investments shrunk in the credit crunch. Lots of those cars are sold to people with financial houses of cards. Betcha the dealership got stung by repayment defaulters.

Listen, you have to try it - there are some good poutine places outside of Quebec, but when you are there it is different.

They also put real bacon on pizzas.

Never been there. A lot of my favorite joints are in Brooklyn.
