Yeah it's that time again. Speed TV is covering six days of the auction this year and I tuned it and I know some of the other members on here like to watch too. So here is a thread where we can discuss it and the cars being auctioned.

Here is a link to the car list for each day. Happy watching to everyone!

Yeah I'm watching. I really really want some of these ZR-1's and Impalas.

Yeah I loved that Impala wagon they auctioned off earlier in the day. They dropped a 'vette engine in it and would use it as a chase car when they did test runs while developing Corvettes. I read a column in Car and Driver or Automobile by one of the guys who drove it and he liked that car so much he bought an old Caprice wagon and put a crate motor in it. That thing must be something.

Watching it is fine when the television is set to mute.

There's no such thing as a 997 Turbo S.

I thought that too.
996 and 993 had the Turbo S trim in the final part of their lives.

I am sorry 993. I knew I mistyped that...

I also couldn't believe that Kaiser Darrin went for $160k! Those things have a whimpy Willys engine. I know they are rare but I did not think they were very desirable.

I absolutely love hearing about Charity events such as this. Nothing makes me feel better than to hear how even during tough times like these, the charities are still receiving!
Good on you!!!
