The guys from my350z.com (Thanks to cmcpokey for referring me to that site) put together a small meet in Lakeworth, Florida. It turned out pretty good, about 15-20 350Zs, 5 300ZXs, and 0 370Zs ;)

Some nicely modified 350Zs, including a few Turbo setups... Some not-so-nicely modified Zs, but I won't get into details since I met these people today and will probably see them again in about a month... So I'll save some comments :)

Here are a few photos:
(My baby is in photos #4 and #5)

Yeah it was pretty clean and looked as if it came straight from Nissan, it fitted the car perfectly.

That Blue Z is pushing 540RWHP btw...

@ Coolieman - Agreed.

Great pictures Niko. It makes it all worth it when you get together with others who have the same passion for great cars :)

That explains the lack of spectators around the cars.

holy shit, one of the rarest things in the automotive world...someone pulling off 3 spoke wheels! They look awesome imo.

See also Saab 900.

I still think they're a bit fugly, but the cars? I'd go there.

I'm sure your wife likes being driven around in a sexy vehicle :) better than a Scion....

These comments pretty much sum it up. You either hate them or love them, there's no in between with these wheels. When I first saw them I was surprised, but I thought they were ok. Then when I saw the car in person I thought it looked pretty good.

It's definitely amazing, and everyone is extremely nice. They automatically become your friends as you arrive :) The club owner (Blue Twin Turbo) is one heck of a guy, makes you feel right at home as soon as you meet him.

She says she wants to learn to drive manual so that she can arrive to the next meeting driving herself and have everybody go like

Are the Silvias considered as Zs as well, or are they different?

silvias are not Zs... but are typically more than welcome in nissan groups.

Niko, what restaurant is that?

Also, what was the most powerful (the blue 350Z TT?) and what sorta power did the most powerful make?

It'd have been cool if Niko got to see something like a 240Z though - those are real lookers.

Sonic. It's Awesome.

We have a lot of US restaurants here, but Sonic is not one of them. No White Castle either - my friend went to NYC and went there for a novelty and had some mini-burgers - he said they were crap. I saw pics and they looked pretty nasty.

Do you have any head on shots? I want to see if the front is modded.

Thanks for that Niko - I got another question, did you guys actually eat at Sonics or just use their parking lot, as I imagine they'd get pissed if you didn't eat anything.

That was my first question as soon as I got there, I hate annoying people and I hate having people telling me to move, to leave, etc... Works out that the owner of the Sonic is a good friend of the South Florida Z Car Club President and even used to own a 350Z. He gave us coupons for free burgers + he definitely made some money out of the meeting because it was a hot day and pretty much everyone was buying drinks :)

They're different, In american circles is common to hear them called "S" chassis, or "Z" chassis.

But as said above - good nissan owners dont mind some cross cousin loving at meetups.

yeah, and the G's are generally allowed to join in as well. and since there are so few GT-Rs, they are typically allowed in Z Car Clubs.

We had another monthly meet yesterday 03-21-09. The weather was awful and only a small amount of Zs showed up (we did get a 370Z this time....) so I only snapped a few photos and didn't stay long since it rained pretty much the whole time. Had fun as usual, everyone was great :)

Took some HDR's and regular photos:

I like those pictures. With the wet pavement and the dark sky, it really makes the lights and cars stand out. They look like official pics from Nissan or something. Great job.

Hopefully next month will be clear and more will show up. Do you guys have meetings at different locations, just to change things up, or do you always meet at the sonic?

Thanks for the comment :)

There's a monthly meet in Miami, one in Broward, and one in Palm Beach... each one on a different Saturday and I believe they're always at the same location.

There weren't any this weekend, but the Broward/Miami meets are usually bigger... I'll try to visit one of those one of these days, but my wife believes that one Saturday per month is more than enough... lol.
