First picture, Saurus NSJ-91

After appearing at the 1987 Tokyo Motor Show, the Saurus was further enhanced for its racing debut. Besides playing the central role in the Saurus Cup, which started in 1989, it also served as a school car at the Nissan Racing School, helping to foster aspiring professional racing car drivers. The engine is the familiar MA10E, found on the March.

Second picture, Saurus Junior NS-93

After appearing at the 1987 Tokyo Motor Show, the Zaurus Jr. took part in one-make races; this is the successor model. Designed as a true single-seater, it is still used at the Nissan Racing School for advanced classes. The engine is the SR18DE, familiar from the Primera, which has a maximum output of 150PS at 6,400rpm.
