Ive been thinking of this for a while and had a (slight) discussion about it wif mustang last nite when we were planning to take over the Aston Martin factory and employ UCP members into certain placements :D . There is a pretty good heirarchy here at UCP and i think we should all have our own duties and specialities, for example..

Wouter: Big Boss
Matra & Eggnogg: co-President
Ibrake4Rainbows: manager?
UK_CARS & Darkphenix: head advisors
Werty: head of multimedia & Enzo specialist??
and so on..

Not a heirarchy as such
There is an endless list but i think it would be a pretty good idea. We could all attatch it to our signatures?

I think I'd be something along the lines of.."head of design and F1 specialist" :p or something haha

Anyway its just the structure im trying to build up, what do you guys think?

ok i would test drive the latest cars and then go back to the designers and tell them where they went wrong and how they can improve the car for driving :p and then drive them a bit more :D

In my first post I was trying to say that I would have to be more senior to Cotterick if he was a designer, as I graduate (Coventry Transport Design) before him, not the boss of the entire company.

yep, ur rite there :) Anway as i wos sayin. What im trying to setup is a sort of *label* for every member and their duties towards UCP. Like Wouter would be the big boss or *the king* :D and i would be the f1 specialist and co-design specialist with canay. Werty the multimedia specialist, painterr head of chopping and so on... do you get it now?? When we all have a label we can add it to our signature and profile.

Well finally now i can get it across lol.
Ok..the meaning of this thread was to in effect give each main member of the forum a specific duty towards the forum itself. In that way we all have our own specialities, for example: painterr is the main chopper, so he will be the 'UCP chop specialist'. I specialise in car design, Evo's and f1 so i would be the specialist in that area.Werty specialises in supplying us with enzo photos, so he will be the 'UCP Enzo specialist' or whatever each want to call yourselves. Our duty or 'job' if you like, will appear on our signature and profile. It will help bring together and create the UCP family even more and when information is needed of a certain car or company or multimedia is needed etc etc. Once we all have our own we can then add them to our sigs and so on... I hope i have made it clear now :)

The Aston UCP business is pretty kool tho :D keep posting your thoughts on that :p

You can be the correspondent of NGR ;) my makeshift raceing team that is dormant...so far i have a designer/artist(iain), a navigator(jailbird), a possible 2nd driver and if not another lacky/mechanic(david doesnt even has his Ps yet but i know hell be a mature driver and he picks things up very easily) and a mechanic(dad) all not realising that they are members lol

Problems with my team...lack of a vehical lol and my invintory consits of a falcon 500 (not roadworthy and up for sale) a stock 302 windsor an exaust tip from an XB GT and an exaust set up from a stock 302 windsor a tyre tube for a 14 inch wheel and vairyous other parts that are quite useless :D and a datsun sunny although a flash car is comming in at work...ive got my finger crossed on its price :)

so this kind of thread has already been done once before, so i guess that many folks are quite enthusiastic about the idea of giving each one a "job title" here at UCP to sort of help identify him/her for guests and new users.
but so far it has been total chaos!! some people participate, some dont. others add their title to their signature, other dont. some people come up with informative titles, others come up with crazy stuff !! such a thing will need a tiny bit of effort, collaboration and enrollment.
i suggest we apoint a commitee of 3 users to be responsible for this. they will appoint each of the frequent posters a title and send it to him/her through PM for discussion. if the user can come up with a better title, its all good.
after the appointing phase is over, each user MUST add his/her title to the signature below for it to be visible for those who might find it important.

i personally dont know if such an idea will actually prove valuable for helping new users and senior users who dont meet much in the same threads. but i can see many people participating, so i guess there is a sense of enthusiasim about the idea. and typical of me, i had to make things more complicated !!

i suggest EggNog, CoventrySucks and Spastik to form the commitee. if agreed, they should arrange a virtual meeting and see how they will start things. after each is appointed an agreed title, they should all be posted in a thread(with a hierarchy if needed, as it also seems like a popular idea) and made viewable to all of us. and then they will be monitored to make sure everyone has the appropriate title in their signature.

my guess is that this suggestion will suffer from the same fate as The Misho Theory.
