The all-new Grand Bentley

"The reason I bought a Bentley was because of its exceptional performance in all respects on the road. Such features...leave nothing to be desired"

(Noel Van Raalte, W.O. Bentley's first customer, October 1921)

An all-new grand Bentley 'exceptional in all respects on the road' will debut this summer. Designed, engineered and built in Crewe, England, it will be the purest expression of the Bentley spirit.

Is that a Flying B on a mass of shades of black?!

I hate teasers.

Would this be the Arnage replacement? I am excited to see how it looks.

so far, it looks very black, and the grill looks rather vertical, so that's good...
i'm hoping it doesn't get a W-engine or AWD though, it should keep a 6.75L turbo V8 with RWD

Yes it is. I don't know why they change name to Grand Bentley, but this is basically the new Arnage, the flagship Bentley.

Grand Bentley is a bit of a redundance.

So far so good then, but it's way too early to tell.

I love anachronistic boats like the big Bentleys/ Rolls Royces/ etc. Personally, I can't wait to see what the lord will be swanning around in next.

If I was looking for 'performance' I'd still be getting a Ferrari (or a ZR1/GTR!). Bentley is stupid if they're not selling on luxury and exclusivity.

- long bonnet CHECK
- vertical grille CHECK
- flying "B" CHECK
- grandiose name CHECK

it could be a real Bentley...now show me what you got!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a large, very heavy, very powerful, very expensive vehicle...:D

There's another kind of performance.

There's a lot of Maserati Quattroporte oozing out of the teaser that I've noticed.

i don't see it, seems more cathedral than quattroporte, and that's the way it should be

Agreed. Also, can this thread be moved to hi-res hide-out?

Factory shot, not high res but it is the first real view of it.

If that's the final product, that's disappointing.

Take a Continental GT, add a bit of Mitsuoka Galue, and here it is.

I so hope it's not that... :(
