What do you think this is? The 5 stud wheels make me think it's beetle based.

It looks to me like a variant of the Porsche 718 Spyder. And, of course, it could very well be a replica. Nice find though.

I have to agree. It's a great find. It's a shame though that it's so destroyed. But I would love seeing it rebuilt to the original specs.
