Hey Rasmus [or anyone else], did Foose modify the engine/performance in anyway on that car? or is it just the externals?

Hey Rasmus [or anyone else], did Foose modify the engine/performance in anyway on that car? or is it just the externals?

Actually, Foose didn't have much to do with the cars themselves, as the conversion from stock GT to Foose Stallion was done by Unique Performance Concepts. Foose did pen the designs for the cars, but he later cut all ties with UPC (http://jalopnik.com/cars/news/foose-cuts-all-ties-with-unique-performance-321480.php), which is the main reason why the Foose Stallions are so sought after these days.

The first few generations included mostly cosmetic enhancements - eg. body kit, 20 inch Foose rims, stripes, seat covers etc. - but also a few performance upgrades like the FRPP axle-back exhaust, new shocks, struts, springs, rear sway bar and optional brake upgrade.

On the later versions owners had the option of having the Ford dealership install any of the usual FRPP Mustang GT upgrades - eg. cold air intake kit or Whipple blower, hotrod cams, and so on - without voiding the warranty.

So, in short, no, stock Foose Stallions retained most of the stock GT performance but handled better. Or let's just say they handled.

This particular car, the #41, has been built mostly for car shows, and has been upgraded with, well, pretty much every part available from the FRPP catalog as well as a bunch of aftermarket parts. It has also been converted from a red leather interior to black. I only know this because my car was sitting next to it in the dealer's loading bay back when I bought mine. They had to convert it from red to black to sell it.
