Over all I'm really impressed with the outcome of the photos.

Was a good afternoon and I might head out again tomorrow.

cool shots indeed!
Is it a sort of GT3 championship, right?

nice shots dude, how did the vipers go/sound?
and that wing on the gallardo, holy crap it's a good foot wider than the actual car

The viper surprisingly didn't sound nearly as loud as a few of the HSV R8's racing in the class before it. But so very very mean. The Gallardos sounded the best though.
A Porsche GT3 RS went face first into a wall between turns four and five, ended up about a foot shorter than it should have been - No photos as i was too far away.

Post 3, I love the birdseye view shot of the lamborghini, horizontal and vertical lines, then boom, curves. Nice composition.

Great shots ballz. :)
I also love the Donut King sponsored GTR. We have arrived at the root of its weight problem!

The Vipers r surprisingly quiet and sound weird. Not quite American thunder but not British buzzers either. I was at Sebring when the last GTS-R competed there.

Maybe they can't let Viper's hit the same rpm's as the street versions, for reliability/endurance reasons?

I can't imagine they would have to add anything that would block some of the sound...

Some tracks have sound regulations. At Lime Rock Park, they have a state trooper with a decibel meter and will fine the park for loud cars.

There's only one track in Australia with noise restrictions thankfully. Eastern Creek is in the middle of a massive complex in the middle of an industrial park bounded by two motorways, so you get all the glorious, unrestricted noise.

Once again the camera put up a pretty decent fight considering the harsh lighting conditions.

When I saw the rear lights of the banged-up Viper my first thought was "Supra".
Weird...

I'm pretty sure Sebring doesn't, it's about a mile away from the actual town of Sebring and half the track is an old air base. Outside of the town are groves of oranges as far as the eye can see haha
