Last night my town held its annual auto show in the town center. It's mostly classic and antique American cars, but a few Brits showed up, along with some hot rods and tuner cars. Here are some of the cars in attendance. Enjoy!

'41 Studebaker - '07 Corvette - '58 Corvette

Great long exposure shots too.

Just a question to throw out there, does it annoy anyone when people enter their brand new cars into car shows?

Thanks. I love when shows continue after dark so I can play with the long exposure shots. I think that '57 Chevy is my favorite pic from the show.

Yeah, I was at a classic British show a few years ago, and this guy was complaining that they wouldn't allow him to show his new X-Type :D

I'm enjoying your photos!

Yeah, nice long exposure shots! That's what I hate about auto shows in a way- people standing around getting in the way of the cars. If it's a long exposure, they become fleeting ghosts. Much less distracting. I go to the auto shows to see the cars, not to see you caress the cars.

Not that the X-Type is really worth anything anyway... :D

It's great when you're doing a 20-30 second exposure and you don't give a crap if someone walks in front of you. If anything, it might actually add to the photo. It's actually kind of cool when some people walk by, but others linger. It looks like some people are more permanent than others.

It beats standing in front of a car for 10 minutes waiting for a half-second window to snap a shot!

Some brilliant photos there, I too like the 'night' one. But then again I have a soft spot for the tri-Chevrolets. Love the MGA as well, very nostalgic for me.

I love the MGA too. My dad has one that's almost identical to this one, but this one had mesh rally headlight covers and wire wheels, which his doesn't. It's a very nostalgic car for me as well. When I was 5 he let me ride in his lap and steer...it's been like a 5th family member.

I think it’s going to be interesting to see the camaraderie that happens with guys that own old domestic cars and are maybe still driving these cars out of some allegiance to that.In addition to classic cars.
