Ok. Title Explains it all. The F1 title is pretty much predictable but not final. However the WRC title battle is far from settled. 3 different leaders so far this year. After the win by Marcus Gronholm in cyprus this weekend. The standings are as follows:

1. Marcus GRÖNHOLM (FIN) 34 Pts

2. Sébastien LOEB (F) 33 Pts

3. Markko MÄRTIN (EE) 32 Pts

4. Petter SOLBERG (N) 26 Pts

( i know there are 10 drivers but these 4 are the main contenders )

1. Ford 53 Pts

2. Citroën 51 Pts

3. Peugeot 47 Pts

4. Subaru 36 Pts

5. Mitsubishi 5 Pts

As well as stating your predicted Champion, which team do you think will win this year?

Citroen?
Peugeot?
Ford?
Subaru?
Mitsubishi?

( made the pics all maself  )

hey way to go cotterick ;) :D :D :D

i think that both Marco Martin and Seb Load have a great chance as long as that rumpy old Gronholm doesnt give them to much trouble

i would really like to see Marco win it because i think that since he has joined Ford he has gone from strength to strength, dont get me wrong so has Loeb, but in my opinion Marko is better and I also like the Ford team better too,

WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE STYING OF THE NEW PUGEOT 307

GO MARKO MARTIN

just thinking again and after watching Solberg in the last two rallies he has a good chance to the way he is going at the moment

ive just realised while talking to one of my friends from rally club, (he is going to rally GB in september) that i might be able to get doem there. if i go straight from college to preston train station, to wales, find a B&B then i could go and watch the rally on saturday and sunday, coming back on sunday night to go to college again in the morning. :o

the problem with that is then that i get ot see the WORLDS BEST DRIVERS but i have to pay for the train tickets down there and back (£40-55) then the ticket price which is about £25 per stage that you go into i think. :( :(

all this is making it ever more likely that i wont get to go down till next year :( another year that i cant do what i bloody (nearly swore there ) want because of the stupid driving regulations here.

how can the stupid welsh coppers just hide in laybys waiting for the WRC drivers to go past then stop them for speeding

Cool!! i Would come with you. CHeer on the fords :D :D an through stingers in the road for gronholm hehe. The welsh cops are fools they wreck it. I think it was wales last year didnt let gronholm continue because he was driving with 3 wheels to the next stage. Whats all that about? I hate the welsh

yes but the stupid thing is that all morning they had been driving round at like 100mph on gravel then ass soon as they get on the public road they hit 37mph (think thats what it was) they get caught by hiing welsh police for doing 37 in a 30mph zone stupid

Worth asking in local car and rally clubs if anyone is planning on going and/or following the event. You could get yourself a 'cheap' seat for the price of sharing petrol.
"If you don't ask you don't get"

Good luck.

thanks matra, might try that but i think that most of them are going to the weeton stages that are on at the same time, helping out, you know team spirit and all, mind you we needed it last time. guy takes his 6R4 from out club, he would definitely of won accept it breaks down 10 mins before start. we worked like mad but couldnt fix it, the ECU went and that was the only thing on the whole car that we didnt have spairs for :(

then the other club member went out in his new escort cozzie, 3rd corner he hit a huge kirb, front strut shot up through bonett  and he bent 3 wheels :(
