The E-Class. I was between the E-Class and the Legacy, I think both are worthy finalists of the award. Both are well engineered competent saloons and estates, with interesting new tech, especially in the Merc's case. A final decider was that the Merc has more votes, and as result a higher chance of reaching the final.
