Monthly Hills Meet (JDM content)

Hey guys, Last night I went out to another JDM event fairly local to me.

Originally started as a plan for about 10 people to catch up over pizza etc, but ballooned out to over 80 cars turning up.

It was a tight squeeze and the locals got a little annoyed that we overtook their parking lot, but we moved on as soon as someone found a suitable location.

Thats all for now. I edited these before hitting the sack after the meet so I'll be going through and picking out some more images to work on.

These turned out very "cold" looking on everyones monitors, so I'll be re-editing these posts with the propper colour corrections tonight.

Love that bodywork stitching thing they have going on. I couldn't drive a car that had it, and I'd never do it to my car...but as a statement of style it's completely bad-ass.

The bodywork on that Skyline used to be in perfect shape. But being that low in Sydney leads to cracks. Sure fire way to stop the crack spreading is to ziptie it together.

I believe that is a technique called tilt-shift.

There are very expensive lenses that you create tilt shift with.

I'm cheap and therefore use the blur tool in Photoshop to get a similar effect.

edit: The location of an overpass right above the entry point to the meet was too good to pass up for the unusual overhead shots.
