Is the LFA ready to do some proper GT racing?

didn't they already enter a car in the 24H of nurburgring? and it will do just fine in a GT series.

Not anymore I believe. McLaren wanted to race and had a valid point.

So is there a difference between this and the Gazoo prepped LFA, the one from the Nurburgring 24 Hours?

Yes they are quite different, the whole body is different.

Was searching for more pics and one of the sites that had pics yesterday had the following message up instead:

i just like the looks of it but i think it wont perform well on the GT racing.
LFA is no match for the GTR. Im not really a fan of it and i regret owning one.
a terrible mistake that i made i should just get a gtr than lfa.
looks are good but when talking about performance it really lacks on being a sports car.

I dunno about you, but if I owned a LF-A I am certainly not servicing it myself, especially with parts from Yahoo.

By the way, any more photos of the car?

I think they did a good job of not letting anymore pics out.

I don't get it- it's free publicity.

How stupidly conservative.

Unless of course they're testing racing stuff and they don't want other people to find out what they're doing to their cars.

2nd thought, maybe Toyota is finally leveraging TME(Toyota Motorsports Europe, otherwise known as Toyota F1) and designing the next GT500 SuperGT car(which has been confirmed to be LFA based)? Since you know, TME is pretty much sitting around doing customer project for who is willing to pay for it....
