10% of the price buys you something far more interesting, like an XJ or a Quattroporte.

The source continues, saying "In his opinion, there should not even be a question about the best car in the world when you sit down to discuss it with your billionaire buddies. He doesn't want to build it until it's the car that finishes the argument, not the car that starts it."

If he's not careful it'll end up being the punchline.

I just find this argument stupid. It's totally awesome, period. Just build the damn thing!

They do need to get on with it. All this pfaffing about is just making them look sillier.

With 800hp, how much more powerful would they even be able to make it?
Well...considering the Veyron which has the same engine can put out up to 1200hp...

Engine power is largely dependent on Air intake and cooling.
If this can't be done sufficient, they have to decrease the power.

With the ongoing horsepower boom, they might be stuck behind the 8 ball for a long long time. As long as technologies are still advancing, it's inevitable that it'll be beat eventually

No. Oh, sorry... thought the question was rhetorical.

For 20% you can buy the XJ AND a Ferrari 458.

Also detuning the engine makes it less mad and more smooth which is what you want in a car like this, fast but smooth.

About paying £2,000,000 i wouldn't if i had the money but their's plenty of rich people out there who would.
