Everybody on here from Europe probably knows of the show Top Gear, and no doubt some people from other places in the world have hear about it too. My question to you is this: who is the Stig?

The first 'stig' was Perry McCarthy, widely reported - especially afer he published his book :)
The 'new' one I've not seen anything concrete yet.

dont think that it is him, for a start the stig dont have grey hair :)

no they havent but when he is driving, from the behind shot you can see that he bas black hair and it is not long and greay it is shorter, so that is why i dont think that it is him.

Because that's what the said on Top Gear, that Stig 1 died after driving a car (an Austin Martin I think) off the HMS Invincible doing some crazy stunt for the show. They even had a R.I.P. page on their web site so pleople could post their condolences. I did.

ah, right ... BRitish humour :)
it was a Jag that they'd stripped and NOS injected on a previous show to beat out the competition. So they then say they're going to race a Harrier along the flight deck. Then an 'accident' happens and "stig" doesn't brake in time and the car goes over the front.
it was a spoof.
McCarthy still lives :)
