Grand National Roadster Show

I thought maybe it would be nice for all my friends in the Euro-zone, and guys back east, (and elsewhere for that matter), who cannot make it to So Cal for the Grand National Roadster Show (the greatest hot rod and custom car show in the world), to see what some first class hot rods look like. So I got some pics together and posted them to ucp. These cars may not be your first love but they have a lot of engineering and quality work in them. Hope you find them interesting. The state of the art in rod building has achieved an extremely high level and these cars show it.

I love the custom roadsters, even if completely gaudy, they just show how much imagination is still out there among us. Its a shame that standard car designers cant just go for it on a larger budget! Great pics.

I wish I coulda been there when our family friend won with Sedeuced in '05. Politicky as hell but a grand spectacle. I lived maybe 45 min away at the time, too.
