A 350Z looks nicer and (in drive and physical) better.

Rover 220 Coupe Turbo. It wasn't in production for long and it was quicker than its rivals.

the 350z is underated because of sheer numbers on the road

go get ur brain checked erm - sheer numbers on the road means that people think it is a cheap car for the masses and that makes it a common car and any common car is very much not liked - but the problem is the 350Z is not - but many people underate it - think before you shoot - thanks

Most underrated car where I live (Netherlands) is probably a Integra type R. Or basicly and Honda type R.

They are fabulous cars but you hardly see them around here.

It's because they are a bit expencive, 28 385 euro for a Civic type R, and the latest Integra type R isn't for sale in holland. a pitty really because it's a nice car.

I know it is not cheap, but then again it is not far priced from its rivals. I guess it is more the general view towards cars in the Netherlands. But that is a different discussion altogether.

But yes Honda NL, please give us the Integra Type R as well.

yeah, looks good, I was in a 620S recently for a 700 km ride, and it was quite nice, I am just puzzled by this version, was it ever exported? I think the most powerful version available in Holland was a 620 Si, delivering about 140 BHP, and because of the market segment the car is in, the diesel versions were the most popular and also provided decent power.
How many of the turbo version were built? (and sold?)

How many of the turbo version were built? (and sold?) This is a very different animal to the Honda powered cars. As I said in my 1st post, BM(Fu**ing)W were responsible for these cars not being marketed as it would've taken sales away from they're overrated 3 series. http://www.geocities.com/rover620turbo/frame1.htm
I think some did make it into Europe, but noy many. I don't the know how many cars were made. If you get the chance to buy one, do it.

2 cars before this one was another 600, that was a 620SLi with the Honda engine and that was an auto. Same shape, but very different in character and performance.

Toyota Corolla GT-Coupe AE86. In the Uk, these cars are VERY rare. They were officially sold here, but they're rarely seen and not many peope here seem to really know about these cars. Here, when it comes to cheap performance cars, everyone thinks Ford XR3is and the rest of the front wheel drive performance cars.

Under rated? Absolutely!

How about the infamous Austin Allegro and Maxi.

Personally I have tried to destroy both and have failed miserably. One Allegro with my Astra GTE (Astra lost) and a company car (Maxi) that would not die. Even keeping it revving with foot to the floor (out of gear) for as long as my ears could bear it. It still wouldn't die!

They are underated as we should use them to launch at an enemy to save costs on expensive munitions. They would also have a demoralising effect on the enemy as when we have finished raping their country they would have a large fleet of hideous & indestructable vehicles to dispose of.

tactical warfare.

Lastly and very underated imo - the humble Ford Fiesta and Escort. In unison they have conquered the unimaginable. In one foul swoop, every proud owner including the most ardent insomniacs will be plunged into an almost comatose state. Take two before bed - and you may wake up if you're lucky.

smile :)

My friend has a 318is. He has the m3 clear lights package which helps the look a lot. It looks like just about any other e36 and still has the luxery and class too. It's lacking speed (still an abundant 138horse) and a few options. But with BMW, they don't half-ass anything. They dropped the 1.8 in there for ECONOMY. They didn't make a "low end" bmw, just a bmw that's good on gas.

The SL was introduced at the Frankfurt motor show in 2001, the SC430 was shown in paris in the year 2000 and released in 2001, the SL was released in 2002...

And I never voiced my opionon about the look, buit now I will: the SL an SC are both really good looking cars. The SC is not ugly, but the SL looks a bit better.

Yes but i have a french magazine (L'Automobile) JUIN 2000 page 18,(i haven't scanner,to scan this pic) two pics from SL the body looks like now,and i think from 1998 the new SL design team started to design it.(so it isn't after SC430)
SL looks a BIT better??????????????
hah, only stupids compare the SL and SC,you can read the history of SL from 1957 300SL wins the hardest race in that year.
but lexus COMPANY in (WHAT YEAR) built????????

ok ok.... let me put an end to this SL vs SC comparison debate going on here. I dont care which car was designed first, coz a couple of months doesnt make much of a difference in a 3 or 4 year long design procedure.

it doesnt make any sense to compare the history of Mercedes with the history of Lexus. Obviously the german marquee has the upper hand when it comes to history and experience which should translate into a better performing car. What Lexus was able to do in such a short time since its release is also astonishing and i dont think any car maker could do again.

Both the SL and SC are very nice cars overall and i will be more than happy to own any of them. However, if u have to decide among the two of them, then it has to be the Benz. i find it better looking both in and out, outperforms and outhandles the Lexus too. Plus Lexus doesnt have any competition for the SL55 and SL600.

So go ahead and get the SL (the best car EVER).

Name of company and history?
SC has won in dreams of its fans
