I was just on the web looking at car ads from the 60s through 80s and this one ad from Mazda stuck out to me as one of the coolest I've ever seen. Its for the RX-3SP. What is your favorite car ad? New or old.

I remember "The Cog" from Honda. Honda ran a campaign with a local newspaper where they gave you a small magazine depicting the many virtues of the the current Accord and they also gave you a DVD with this ad in it. I think I still have somewhere at home.

ASIDE: I do get annoyed with these "banned" titles. Many of them - remember all the VW ones - were never intended to be broadcast and were meant to be viral and push the envelope and be a bit of fun. So calling them "banned" is just crass sensationalism ... my 2c worth :)

They'll sell so few of them demand would be high I assume. They won't have any problem moving them.

It would have to be the VW ad where a guy in the parking lot who has fallen in love with a car sees a couple pointing at the car - they want the same car.
