The Buick Signia concept was first revealed at the 1998 Detroit Motor Show. It was intended to be a versatile family vehicle with luxurious appointments.
Powering the Buick Signia was a 3.8 litre V6 which developed 240 horsepower. The engine drove the front wheels while at the back electric motors would kick in to drive the rear wheels if wheel slip was detected.
