Haha, Obscure-alicious. I'm pretty sure I know the answer, so rather than spoil the fun, I'm gonna add an equally obscure clue.

Harry's car, about 2 years ago.

linoel Martin turned his passion into a business in 1913, when he joined forces with Robert Bamford to sell Singer cars – adapting them for the tough up-hill challenges that formed an important part of early motorsport. The partners wanted to manufacture cars of their own – and a name was needed. Martin regularly competed in climbs at Aston Hill – and with the simple combination of a hill and a driver, the Aston Martin legend was born.?In 1914 Bamford & Martin Limited bought premises in Chelsea, London – and the following March, the very first Aston Martin car was registered. :)

By my count 14 (counting the various Ford/GM owned companies..)

Lotus

Chevrolet
Opel
Buick/Oldsmobile/Cadillac (a 3400 V6 engine project)
Pontiac (super duty DOHC 16v engine project)

Ford
Aston Martin

Rolls Royce
Bentley

Mercedes

Panther

Caterham.

And one motorcycle engine - a 750 cc twin-clyinder for Norton Villiers Triumph (amazing what you find on the net...yeah I cheated).

I assume, Suka, you've either being reading Cosworth:the search for Power by Graham Robson or looking at the Cosworth website??

I reckon 14's about right given the number of GM companies.

This one's more clear cut:

What sportscar featured Vauxhall Viva (Kadett?) suspension, debuted a Climax derived engine and what on earth does it have to do with the MG SV??

Tell me if these are too easy!!!

I'll say Qvale Mangusta cause it had something to do with MG SV? I dunno what I'm on about..

Clue please! This must be wrong but could be correct ... Co-driver to Gwyndaf Evans (MG Xpower Rally Team); Howard Davies first experience driving a car was in a Vauxhall Viva .. and being on the MG racing team his company car is a new MG SV Xpower. I got the whole MG teams autographs on a piece of card with everything about them on the back at the 2001 Birmingham NEC Sportscar show.
