the car is nice but I don't like how it has the white curved, colour on da sides.

Exactly the curves on the side are meant to look like the ones from 56-60 Corvettes. Ironically enough, the most popular color combination during that time? Red w/ White

i'm torn between love n' hate here. it's great to try and bring back some old school flavor, but it didn't turn out as well as some other cars have. but hey, they're on the right track

Wasn't the popular one's body white with a red curve though?
Someone posted a different kit a little while ago that I liked much more. It had such a nice shape.

From all articles and documents I have read and seen the Red with a White stripe was the more popular. I do know that I see many more Red/White 56-60s than I do White/Red.
