just a quickie, was the 325is fwd or rwd?, which BMMs were Rwd? thanks

The actual 325 is RWD and you have the option of getting it AWD also.

Every BMW ever has been RWD (Some with the option of AWD). The only exception that shouldn't actually count is the Mini Cooper, which is owned by BMW but obviously not authentic.

THanks guys I was a touch confused because one ad said FWD and I thought wait a mo that doesn't seem right. So I decided to check.

we used to own a 1994 525ix touring, which had AWD - rare car, very nice to drive - most Beemers are tho.

I don't think BMW has ever made any front drive cars. I think the Isetta is fwd but I might be wrong.

no, it drove through the 2 (very close together) rear wheels :)

Maybe there's a confusion on which way was forward for it :) The engine was in the back and the door on the front.
