Had a lovely time in Monterey. Here are photos of four outstanding cars (three of which were on the Tour d'elegance). Hopefully more to come. Left to right; a Morgan (just parked on the street), the Hartman Cadillac, an O.S.C.A., a superb 206 Dino, and two pics of the fantastic Aston Martin Vantage Zagato. Monterey Classic Car Week never fails to provide the best, most impressive collection of motor vehicles in the world. It truly is sensory overload. It produces an almost Circus atmosphere with all the affluent people from around the world, but they are only chasing after the finest examples of automotive excellence that exist. As I've told many, I go there for the cars not the people.

Six more shots; the 1st being a new Ford GT parked right outside my room at the Wafarer Inn, and the next (an Aston Martin V-8 Vantage Zagato) was a genuine thrill just to have been able to see one, let alone parked on the street a block and a half from where I was staying. You will only see these types of cars in abundance at Monterey. Next, the Packard Mayfair Coupe and the Talbo-Lago Grand Sport Figoni Fastback Coupe. Those both were on the Tour d'elegance. Finally, my own C-5 Anniversary Corvette entered in the Pacific Grove Car Show and Rally.

Another six cars that were on the Tour; one of the several Tuckers present, a magnificent Maybach, the Le Mans 3rd place 1966 GT40, a marvelous Packard Darrin, the fantastic Hartman Caddy, and a beautiful '53 Ferrari 250 MM Vignale Spyder.
