A few random bits of automobilia:

Montreal has some great automotive signage with MR2s, LeCars, and wanton destruction.

EDIT: That's no MR2, that's a Fiero, you mook!

Some more from the Montrealiens

The recurring car in these seems to be a LWB Mustang II or similarly malaisey donk. Any ideas?

...and the last of the ones from the Belle Province.

Are those Montreal ones from a car share/rental? Clever.

I think it is an ad agency; all of these pictures are a few years old, so their origin is somewhat lost to the fug of time. Surely it was some sort of "disruptive" firm among the beard/flannel/tattoos/Wayfarers-requisite apartment blocs of Vieux Port.

Do parking signs in Toronto feature Pontiac Parisiennes on wide whites? I realize this is outdated, but Rob Ford's (sadly-deceased) liver would surely insist that they be white-on-white-on-white Testarossas or Countaches... [Citation needed] (http://www.1000sel.com/)

Wow those are amazing.

The first one, the one with the Renault 5, is this a sign from the city council?

About the white generic 70's american hardtop, seems too big to be a Mustang II, doesn't it?

Rob Ford would be seen driving around my neighborhood in a Chevrolet Uplander. I saw it parked on the fateful night he was elected mayor.

I mean, as seen in this photo, it could be a Prarisienne...https://toronto.citynews.ca/wp-content/blogs.dir/sites/10/2009/01/ac050d854aab97bc27d4a03b7280.jpeg

Were I a less law-abiding man, I would have risked igloo prison in Nunavut by stealing it. That one is the only one that I believe was actually installed by the government. Part of their underlying Francophilia, I gotta suppose.

Yeah, my first thought was Oldsmobile Mustang II, so I picked the one with Roman numerals for maximum Malaise aspiration. Opera windows are sadly absent. Thinking about it, I'd say a GM A-body would probably be closest.

EDIT: The only one with quarter windows that big would be the Grand Am, I guess?

That's a lot of fun to see haha!

Unfortunately not made by the municipality itself.

NYC is no fun, we're about to get congestion pricing. Way off topic, but how do you guys deal with congestion pricing if you guys do have it in your city?

The rear window treatment seems to be different.

On the other hand it could just be a DeTomaso Longchamp.
