first .. GT1 regs are no more . in it's later days . you had to build one road car to be able to race GT1 cars .. and those were homologation specials ..
cars racing in this category were the likes of Porsche 911 GT1(and Evo), the CLK's GTR and LM, McLaren F1 GTR .. other cars worth mentioning Panoz GTR, Ferrari F40 LM, Lotus Esprit and Elise GT1, Cryshler Viper(i mention this car cause it was originally build for GT1 spec . but it was sooooooo slow that they changed it to gt2 spec :))
those days FIA GT1 regs were similar to ACO GT1 reg..s nowdays . the closest thing to those regs are the LM GTP regs the Bentley run last year ..

GT2 .. also exists no more . this was for modified road cars .. like Porsche GT2 .. nowdays . it is called GTS for FIA and GT for ACO .. tipical cars . Ferrari 550&575 GTC, Lister Storm(also originally build for GT1 regs), Saleen S7, Chevrolet Corvette ..these GTS cars are faster then old GT2 cars ..

GT3 .. is the ACO name . it is NGT for FIA . this is for road cars with very light modifications . Porsche GT3, Ferrari 360&360GTC .. at LeMans there were also Morgan Aero 8 and TVR cars

GT1 .. 900kg, engine +600BHP .. with restrictors ... killed the Porsche GT1
NA up to 6.000 cm3
Supercharged .. 4000 cm3

GT2 .. 1100 kg . engines . derived from road cars .. but still +600 BHP
different engines . from big pushrod V8 .. corvette ..to V12 NA Ferrari and V12 supercharged from Lister..

GT3 .. i don;t remember the weight but i think is 1230 kg ..
engines .. NA up to 4 litre i think .. Ferrari and Porsche are 3.6L . both with aprox. 450 BHP ..
supercharged engines are allowed for NGT .. 2 litre units . but nobody races with this engines .. probably because nobody build GT cars with 2 litre inline 4 engines . :)

if you have more question . just ask :)
