The Custom Eight is a car produced by Hudson from 1935 to 1938. It was the most luxurious version of the DeLuxe Eight.

The chassis was initially available in a single version. The engine installed was a 4,169 cm3 side valve inline eight-cylinder, which delivered 113 hp of power. An optional version developed 124 hp. The clutch was damp monodisk, while the gearbox was three-speed. The traction was rear. The brakes were hydraulic on the four wheels. The automatic transmission was offered as an option.

The bodies available were two- and four-door sedans and a two-door brougham.

In 1936, two chassis were availabl.In 1937, the line was updated and the engine improved, power reached 122 hp. In 1938 the line was updated again. The Custom Eight went out of production in 1938 and was replaced by Country Club Eight.
