Did you guys noticed the pics of the BMW M5 that was added this week to the site??

Simply amazing, great pics Wouter. I heard the headers were made of the best stainless steel ever in production ( T-304 )

Best M5 ever.
Looks good, great engine (as usual), 7 speed too.
I hope the 7 speeds are just for F1 tie ins and gimmick appeal, and that they aren't neccessary to keep the engine in the power band, unless 7th is going to be a super-long over-drive type affair.

It's a shame there is still no slush box option, but this M5 seems much more focused than previous versions.

The Chrome Shadow paint job seen on the prototype is a one off. Rather than painting the wheels to match the body, they painted the body to match the wheels, and there is only one guy skilled enough to produce the required high quality finish, and he does it by hand, to apply the sliver sheen over a black base coat.

It's def. an amazing car, but I'm still more in love with the previous generation E39 M5... just because this one is more computer than car, and the E39 still is more car than computer... but I'd have both in my garage...!
