If you had a race car, any race car which color would you choose

a) Black
b) red
c) orange
d) white
e) blue
f) silver
g) yellow

etc.


Me myself I would choose white it makes a car look elegant annd fast
especially a Kleeman CL GT55k

le mans blue, it's a lot like dark blue, but just a little bit darker

Black in general...but then it all depends on the car, some color looks better on a certain car then others.

not quite as bad as British Racing Green but there have been a few bleu's used for France over the years. So the light, the mid or the dark ??

Well I'm struggling with it as I'm undecided what shade to paint the re-shelled 'Bag :( and I'm not having 3 different colours :)

Alpine blue, you can use Tamiya spray cans (but quite a lot) :)

Just had the A610 completely re-sprayed ( in Alpine Blue )

But that isn't right for the Matra.
I think it has to be the mid-toned blue as used in the Le Mans Matra.
Just can't decide if I go for driver colour flashes or not :)

To identify the cars, teams often put contrasting and easily identifiable colours on the sides and/or corners fo endurance racers.

ah like the Sauber yellow and red mirros, had no idea you called that flashing. I guess you being a scot, dark blue with white side flashes would be appropriate.

Nowadays the term British racing green is pretty damn ambiguous, but when I say I like BRG, I mean PROPER British racing green. As in 500 parts black to one part very dark green :). (See attached)
