When did you see your first Ferrari?

I just saw my first one today, a white 348TS, sitting in all its glory in a glass showroom, sharing space with a old Merc E55 AMG I think..

the first ferrari I saw was a testarossa some 5 to 6 years ago I don't remember exactly
however I regularly cross a 360 modena spider almost once a week, the lucky one who has it lives close to me.

I also crossed a maybackh a month ago, Hmmmmmm...... :rolleyes:

interesting to see when the first time you have sitted into one of these, Actually it never happened :( to me still a dream .....

the first ferrari i saw was a blue f355 in the showroom. ive seen a f50 once plus a couple of 360 modena, 550 maranello & testarossa on the road. the ones which ive seen only once on the road are the Enzo ,575M & 550 barchetta.

as for maybachs i saw my first one on the road. second one in the mercedes showrrom & 3rd one in a motorshow. only VIPs were allowed to sit in it so i stood in line pretending to be one of them & sat in the 62 for a minute. it felt like a very comfortable dentist chair. after getting off the maybach i ran to the Phantom & luckily managed to sit in it too.

i probably saw my fist ferrari when i was very litle maybe 5 or 6 years old .. it was a f40 that was in a museum ....

first maybach: last month, in zurich. i didnt get anything close to a good view of it, though.

First Ferrari... that's going back a long way, well over 10 years.
It was probably a 328 or 348 or something like that.

First Maybach was last month. It was every bit as bad as I imagined.
"Vulgar" is the most suitable word I can think of.
My Phantom to Maybach ratio stands at 4:1.

come to about a year ago i saw an enzo but when i was 5 i saw a 250 i think

I haven't a clue about my first Ferrari, but I probably wasn't very old cos my dad used to take me to car shows even when I was a wee baby. The first Ferrari that I ever saw and knew that it was a Ferrari was probably around the town nearest to me (Loughborough, if anyone's interested) cos there's a Ferrari/Maserati garage there (http://www.ferrari.co.uk/dealer/graypaul_loughborough.asp and http://www.sytnergroup.co.uk/maserati/loughborough/). I used to see new Ferraris and Maseratis pretty regular when I went there shopping. Don't go there very often anymore though.

They have had a great selection of cars in the window over the last few years. The most memorable being the F40, 288 GTO, early 90's F1 car, a classic one (it was ages ago and I don't actually remember what it was, I think it was a Dino or a 250. They had a Murcielago in the window for ages, not really sure how it got there, but they'd not long been out the first time I saw it there, so it was pretty ace. :D

Maybach? In Leicester? No chance. Saw it at the motor show twice. Didn't do anything for me at all, give me a Rolls any day.

Oh musta been only this year when thre was a 360 modena in my school car park.

I saw the new 612 Scaglietti at the Sunday TImes Motor Shoe in the NEC this year though.

Maybach? I sat in the 62 at the motor show as well, bloody comfortable!! :p

My first Ferrari was a 308 GTS in Stamford CT...a long time ago! Since moving to Miami I've seen quite a few more, not as often as I would like but at least once a week. Some day, some day soon...

i think ma first wasa testerossa wen i was abt 9...got a drive in a 456 from ma friend who was xportin it wen i was like 13 or so....he asked me if i wanted to try movin it in a lot...i moved it a few inches front n bak, but then got out.... now im cursin maself! got a few pics too....luvly car!

I dunno when I first saw a Ferrari, I know that I saw an F50 in '96 or '97 or so (witch made me a carfreak)
