Wow thats beautiful!, the front vents are way to big and round though. Are they planning on press releasing it then if they let it go out with no Discise.

front is ugly, looks cross-eyed and the intakes are horrible. also the mirrors look stupid. but the back looks nice, not better than the 360CS but nice. if you look closly there are vertical fins in the rear diffuser, similar to the enzo but there are two on each side here. strange that theyre testing in mexico? i guess the name is officially the 430 then, judging by the plate? i think overall it still looks too much like the 360, but just a real ugly version, id still go for the CS.

I totally agree the back is beautiful, but the front looks horrible. The Modena has always been my favorite car, but I think it needed a new look, and this is not it.

Wait everybody! I think the front pic may have been played with photoshop, if you veiw in closely it looks squarey and as if the lights has been half coverd up. I dont know im just guessing, we need an expert like Painterr!

At very first glance the front of that thing reminds me of a Porsche 911 996. But only at first glance.

I like it, especially the rear. I see where you're going UK CARS, it does look tampered with, but 'eh you never know.

Anyways, form follows function. In a sports car looks should always be shaped around performance, imo.

The rear shot is real, but the front shot is a mock-up - although with quality like that it's more of a mockery.

Here's the pages from Auto Express on the 430 :)

I don't like it. Doesn't look like a 'Ferrari'. Where is the central air intake? The graceful headlamps? It looks like a Corvette (ich!). If this is indeed to the final shape of the car, it will have been two consecutive design missteps for Ferrari: the 612 and this. Shame. Look at what Aston Martin and Porsche are doing with the DB9 and new (old?) 911...

These pictures are from Carspyshots.com, go halfway down page 13, and partway
down page 14 to see more of these shots. Apparently the Mexican pics are correct.
The car was intro'd to some influential people on the 20th. Notice the Sharknose
grilles...after about 2 minutes of looking in real life, I'll probably love this car.
The narrow hood from the 360 looks weird w/the thin vertical headlights.

yuck, why did they ruin the modena?? All it needed were some technical and then very subtle improvements (think 550- 575M). It was a classic and now it looks like the Enzo, which I rather dislike the look of as well.

I see it has Enzo brake lights. Looks good. R&T only showed the front, not the back.

Wow! Not bad, really! Gotta see it in reality or bigger to really compare it eith the 360, but the first look is not bad.
But after all - what really counts is the performance of the car!
Ferrari for sure will make the car perform well, but is it snough to compete with the Gallardo or the next 911 Turbo? Let's wait and see - and besides Ferrari will always be sth special for all the "Tifsoi" - like me for instance

I think the air intakes are too big, it looks like the car is...smilling. Oh well, if it's the final design, it'll grow on me. I like the rear though. In order to compete with the Gallardo, it's going to need at least 500 HP!!

It'll need more than that.
Audi are introducing their Le Mans supercar in V8 and V10 versions. As the V10 version will have a similar specification to the Gallardo in its current form, they don't want to be competing with themselves.
So, it would appear from some articles, the Murcielago and Gallardo will be pushed up in performance, and the Ferrari will be competing with an Audi

I like the car!
It is a true Ferrari, stylish and fast. And it has 90 hp more then the 360, which shows that Ferrari respnds to the challenge by Lamborghini.
Besides I am very happy that they put enough horsepower in it to accelerate quicker and have a higher top speed then the Gallardo (which I also like).
By the way, with that performance it is again faster then the new 911 Carrera S.
Now I am looking forward to the "sport Auto Supertest" on the famous german nürburgring, to really test the perfomrance and the aerodynamics!
By the way, even though I myself drive an Audi, I always would prefer a Ferrari over the Le Mans.
And till now the new Audi hasn't been released yet. Who knows if they are not going to publish a special version like the Challenge stradale again?
