80's ford taurus vs early 90's ford escort

I can't see any difference between the two cars.
They both look utterly horrible.

i'd have to go with the 80's taurus, and ONLY the escort has no excuse for being so ugly in the 90's, the taurus at least has a excuse as a 1980's american economy car :D

Why bother with either, because under the skin they were 10 years behind the times.

Stick the REAL Ford Escort in and it's a no-brainer :)
But stick the Sierra Cosworth in and it gets hard again :)

Sorry, I tried to go a whole day without slagging off the poor excuse for cars that Ford palms on the poor US customer when UK and Germany produce brilliant cars ( and OZ I presume based on my recent experience in the Monaro - Ford must do something in OZ to sell against it, shame we don't see it :( )

we get that the Escort too in Australia but its called a Laser.. and its designed and made by Mazda.. its what we call a Japanese Ford.

Holden are the only local with a 2 door RWD (other than the utes of course) but Ford's trump car would have to be 4L's of dual overhead cam, turbo VCT straight six in the form of the XR6T :p
