Hi all, just curious, do you need to start and drive a car to charge its battery or just start it and let it run for some time ??? Does the answer apply to all cars ??? BTW I have a BMW 3 series.

By turning, do you mean that the engine should be running while the car is not moving or that the car is in motion ???

Either way it charges the battery ;)

Just go for a ten-minute cruise. That way, you know for sure that your battery is charged, and you also get to go for a ten-minute cruise. :)

it'll charge with the engine idling......but it wouldn't hurt goin for a 10 min ride:)
