WTF!? That looks like a retro muscle car!

that not bad, a bit cut and shut looking, but ive seen worse, far worse. for instance, the theme car for the mask 2: son of mask or some crap like that underneath a whole lot of body add ons and such is a monaro that looks utterly hideous.

It looks like they're trying to copy the new mustang..... very very badly.

I'd have said they were going for a retro Monaro look before the Mustang...

The back looks quite good, the front isn't so good.
You could loose childern down the panel gaps though.

I think they were trying for a late '60s, early '70s Chevrolet Chevelle. Not bad, except for the front. What gave it away (for me) is the pop up cowl induction like the old Chevelles had. It worked off of engine vaccum.

yeah i think its a 1970 Chevelle mock up

well its a good attempt, you gotta give them that. still nothing lik a Bitter CD 2 as far as transformations go though

the bitter was ugly but not shocking but close, This thing is like getting the rear off a 60's Monaro and putting it on the 2004 monaro then grab the front from a statesman its all over the place, Id they wont to make something old get a old car leave this car alone or make it look better then that, Even CSV dont go that far and im not 100% behind there body kits,

wheres the point in that though? they obviously wanted a classic exterior on a modern chassis. they could easily graft the semi trailing arm IRS, macpherson strut front end and an LS1 into an old Chevelle, but it not the same

Why cant they do it to the camero or vette ?, In one way im impressed they choice the Monaro they think its good enough they love it over there, Then on the other hand i get mad to think they change it like that bad american taste at work there

i think the proportions better suited the car. also take into account though, that the Chevelle used to be the same as the GTO, and the Monaro is the same as the new GTO. to anyone in the know, basing it off the monaro wouldve been the logical solution

Found the book but cant find pics online, Motor mag june 2002.
Arrows builds a AU2DOOR. I was wrong with the engine its 6.4lt 370KW 610Nm @ 4000rpm.
And i just seen its not the F1 team arrows its the name of the car arrows lol

There is a number here at the bottom wounder if they still build them ?

fpv_gtho

i doubt it. no one would buy them, they were somethin like $160Kwith the full 6.4l 370kw engine

SlickHolden

but it could be a better look with BA. I would ask them just to coupe it leave the front and rear the same or just a minor change

fpv_gtho

well the coupe aspect is the appeal of the car. AEC should be getting bck into the headlines with their BA version of the 300+ coupe that should use a sprintex supercharged 5.4 in place of the 360kw superchared 4.6

Yep then we can have coupe races before the V8 supercars. :D
