4.0 northstar ?'s

i just purchased an aurora and am interested in finding out if there are any 4.6 swaps or other easy performance enhancements...what is the difference between a 4.0 and a 4.6? help...

after geting bored i decided to look for any performance mods for my '96 STS with th 4.6 northstar and i fouynd several good websites. Caddy Edge (www.caddyedge.com) has plent of northstar info and might have info on a 4.0-4.6 swap for the aurora. but seeing as the 4.6 is a crunch in the front of the big caddys it might not be feasable. this site (www.http://www.caddyinfo.com/northstarsupercharger.htm) has been developing a supercharger for all 93-00 4.6 cadillac northstars and it looks promising aside from the large supercharger driveshaft thats surely robing a few hp... anyway good luck...

well, that website was right about putting in a K+N filter did alot.

tip- there's a spacer in the bottom of the airbox, take one bolt out and get rid of that spacer, there's a couple hp... now i just have to get rid of the governor
