Pictures of chicks with bikini's, I mean these may well raise some eyebrows and even some penis' but not all want to be look at these. I better not for get to mention the spouses that get hakced off when they see them too.

I don't like having them on the forums, they distract us from what we're actually here to talk about: cars.

this issue has been brought up by one of the moderators before, and until there is actual porn (you actually see parts that are not fit for PG rating) they will be tolerated.

Let this be a warning however: PORN IS NOT TOLERATED! the last person to post porn was had there I.P. Banned on the spot. Simple, effective, and a warning to you all.

I'm in total agreement with you IB4R, we tried to be tolerant in the "Who is the hottest female in the world????" thread but too often pictures were posted that "crossed the line", which really isn't too surprising because the "line" was never clearly defined, we said "NO PORN", but to what degree and how close to porn would be allowed?

Members from different countries, cultures and even age groups would have slightly different views, so I say lets keep them off the forums and keep this a "G" rated site that is accesible by everyone from younger members living at home to the married guys and even the guys at the office.

I do also think that avatars should also conform ;) , so if you have an avatar that may not be up to the forum standards, you will find your avatar edited .... quite possibly to something not so exciting and curvaceous. <insert evil laugh> :D

Wouldn't it be a good idea for the moderators to get together (online of course) and decide what will and won't be permited and then post the guidlines along with what the consecuences will be if the aren't followed?

Just because we can't give a 10 page report idenitifying all the parts that are acceptable and unacceptable doesn'r mean it isn't in place......

There have been a few people privately warned and a couple of warnigns put in threads as reminders that we're cars not babes and there are plenty of sites for the latter and only ONE ucp :)

But 'porn' will always be a subjective thing and some mods will raise a concern not initially shared by others. We discuss those in our forum - yes we've one where we talk about you all :) So far we've all accepted any conern raised by any mod.

But the warning is UP THERE. If it's dodgy the poster risks a ban., so NOW the poster has to consider how OTHER readers will view the post. Persoanlly EVERY post should be reviewed that way before hitting "Submit Reply" :)

I think girl pic's are fine. And as long as there not naked and only to do with women, Like that one Thread was, A man's dreams are women and cars so why not have 1 thread as tastefull as can be to this. And if in any way it gets out of hand then the powers that be will do there thing.

r1ckst4 and drakkie have also incurred a 1 day ban for their inappropriate avatars.

These bans will increase in severity very quickly and very soon.

Keeping this a totally accessible site to everyone - regardless of age, moral standards, etc. - is a priority of all moderators, and I'm sure we'll all be consistent - at least in these matters - in the next few days or so.

Over dinner and the dishes I thought a little bit about when this proverb is normally used an by whom. Of course Jupiter himself used it the first time, to justify his deeds, and after that it was normally the (alleged/supposed/self-acclaimed) bosses that use(d) it to justify their acts. It is hardly the case that the cow speaks up (even in Roman times they did not say much) or nowadays the other party. (the non-boss). There is of course the irony that the first case of Bovi is bos, (admittedly with one s but still).
Isn't is nice that this thread about sexually stimulating avatars can take such a nice cultural turn. I love these UCP forums (fora) :)

Any offensive, degrading or unaccpetable images, as deemed by us moderators, will incur a ban. Simple.

The difference between someone like Drakkie's and LithMafia's avatar is one is openly sexually explicit, the other has a bit of taste (IE they are clothed and not in a compromised position.)

Don't get me wrong, i like a girl as much as the next teenager, but we are trying to keep the site at least PG.
