Anybody going to be there? It's on the 4th and 5th of September. I am hoping to go up in the Libra and camp on the friday to be there all Saturday, i have a football game on Sunday so can't go that day. I will be taking my new Digital Camera to get lots of pictures. The Libra wont be gong on the track though, don't trust it.

How is the weather up there? There is very light rain for about 10 mins every few hours down here, but hey we are closer to the equator! :p

Torrential rain, sever flooding, roads blocked, and roofs leacking :(

It's bad up here and being near the East coast we're also in a "har" which is a thick fog. Haven't seen sky and clouds for about 3 days !!!

Well since we spent most of the time with Team GTM we didn't take many other pics. Sorry, blame my Dad he had the camera all the time. Sometimes i just sat with the Team GTM members with the Team GTM stand that was on the track at the exit to the Esses while my Dad went off round the show.

I actually just noticed that he had left some of the photos off, there are a few non-GTM ones.

Nice pictures. I don't know much about kit cars, but I like the looks of these in the pictures and you're Luego (I believe?) is nice as well. Is there any web-sites where I could learn more about these kit cars?

Kit Car magazines - there are 2 major ones in the UK.

One of them has an excellent web site listing all manufacturers.
Spend a few hours here and you'll get the big picture.
http://www.kit-cars.com/manlist.html

If you're interested in any individual kit it's then worth doing a google search for the kit name and "build" as usually folsk create web sites of their individual builds. ( still waiting to see advancement on UCPs own kit-in-progress :) )

http://www.totalkitcar.com/manufacturers.shtml is another list with pretty much the same cars, but their is an option with this one to search by donor. So useful to look out at mum or dad's rusting heap and then find a kit to use all the parts :)

Oh come off it!! I am into my GCSE year! I need to do more school work! http://jm.g.free.fr/smileys/boohoo.gif

I just realised that the link for the cars on the track was missed out! More photos (http://www.egatesolutions.co.uk/photography/gallery.asp?gallery=donington)
I think even you Matra might find some of these interseting. Like the all Carbon fibre Fury.

Priorities !!!
Haven't you managed to arrange the studies to include activities for the kit.
BusAdmin - process management and accounting
Phyics - suspension components and setup
Chemistry - the fuel tank, supply, carbs and ingition
Maths - hiding how much it really costs from your Mum/Dad
English - written report to the rozzers why you were out with no lights, no licence and no bodywork
Human Biology - measuring the effects of 20 hours days on the huma body :)
What else you 'studying' ???
Yeah, point taken :)
But I feel I need to gently remind you to prevent it becoming one of those statistics of ANOTHER kit half-built in a shed !!
