Yea its a brilliant car, heavy though :confused: I think its made of steel!! We have to thank it though, it inspired Porsche to make the Carrera GT :D :D

You couldnt see the pics because you werent a member, you need to be in order to access files on the forum, however now that you are a member, you can see the pics, if you cant then something is wrong. Welcome to UCP :)

That model is a 911 GT1, but has Sportec modifications on it.
So its really called a Sportec 911 GT1.

That car is awesome. As I recall, this one was for sale on ebay a couple of years ago.

no it dosnt, its the same 1997 Porsche Gt1 Strasse Version
that was on sale on carclassic since god knows when, BTW now they have a pale yellow one for sale.
and no this model was not even touched by Sportec, only one to my knowledge was ever modified by Sportec after specific customer request

heavy i wouldnt say it is, cause it weigh less then the Citroen C5
its weight is 1250kg and im almost sure when i say that its a Carbon Fibre monocoque, and so are the body panels
the engine is a Twin Turbo aluminum block, 3.2 443BHP
Mid engined and rear wheel drive like all the classic porsche's
riding on fat 335/30 and 295/45 18"
